Mitsubishi Electric (6503) to commence shipping 5th-gen SiC-MOSFETs for EVs

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. announced it will commence shipping bare die samples of its fifth-generation silicon carbide metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (SiC-MOSFETs) for electric vehicles (EVs) in late June. Concurrently, the Japanese conglomerate has established "Serendie Street Boston," a Western Digital Transformation Hub, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as part of a global co-creation initiative.
